What's happening now...

Devastated to have lost my dear friend, Chris Burroughs, on Monday. We were bandmates in Hardpan, but our friendship went well beyond the music. I don’t have the words right now to properly do honor to who he was as a person, or to his talent as a musician and songwriter. But I will say that his friendship meant a great deal to me, and I know that my life was made much richer through knowing him.  I will miss him deeply. My heart breaks for his wife Kelly, and son Henry. I can’t imagine what these next days will be like for them. Even if you don’t know them personally, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.  Today as we celebrate our Thanksgiving holiday, I’ll be thankful for the time I had with Chris, and for the music we created together. And I’ll be thankful for all those I care about who are still in my life. Life can change in an instant, we need to hold onto each other while we’re able.  Wishing all of you peace and happiness. R.I.P. Chris Burroughs. Love you brother.

House Concert: Solo Acoustic

Gail Erdos, 46 Bartlett Avenue (T-Accessible), Belmont

Doors: 7:00pm Show: 7:30pm BYOB

On the evening of Saturday, November 17th, I'll be performing a solo acoustic concert at the home of my good friend, Gail Erdos, in Belmont, MA. This will be my fifth show at Gails venue. Its a special place, and I love coming back there to play. This is no ordinary house concert. Gail has a room/venue on her property specifically designed for music, complete with professional quality sound. The evening will begin at 7:00pm with a social gathering in Gail's home. Gail will provide hors d'oeuvres and snacks, but guests are asked to bring their own beverage of choice. The show itself will begin around 7:30pm. I usually divide the concert into two sets giving people the opportunity to move around, refresh their drinks, and mingle a bit in between. After the performance we can all gather once again for more refreshments and socializing. These evenings tend to be a lot of fun, and a great way to share some music together. Space for the show is limited to 32 guests, so please order your tickets as soon as you can.
